  1. What are the advantages of draw-down/popout DHTML menus?
  2. In what circumstances can they be confusing?
  3. Why is it essential to offer a noscript fallback navigation system?
  4. When all browsers fully support the CSS statement position: fixed and other CSS elements, it will be possible to create draw-down menus in CSS alone, which do not rely on Javascript. And it will also be possible to create a left-hand (or right-hand) menu which remains in position when the page is scrolled (like a framed menu). How will this help usability?
  5. Compare some examples of DHTML menus. Which do you think are the clearest and most effective? (Please email and we will add them to our page.)
