More about Internet Evangelism Day - the new focus day in 2006

Using Cartoons in Web Evangelism

The page below is a suggested outline for using the cartoon strategy outlined here. Other web-sites would be encouraged to use HTML coding to incorporate a daily or weekly cartoon within their own pages. A condition of use would be that a short link be included below the cartoon, which would bring the reader to a resource page such as the demo below. The cartoon has been repeated on the resource page itself, along with (non-working) linking suggestions, and links to appropriate evangelistic pages.

Naturally, the whole thing would be rather better designed than this page. Dave and Sue are of course imaginary cartoonists. The cartoon below is in fact copyright of Shannon Burns who has kindly offered it for this demonstration.

When used within someone's web-page, the cartoon itself would be a graphical link with a required text link below, as demonstrated here.

Life's Like That!

Daily insight from Sue and Dave

evangelism internet gospel outreach cartoon

Life is...

...sometimes funny...

      ...often hard...

             ...maybe strange...

...many times difficult to understand. Sometimes we have more questions than answers. Often, we prefer to blank out the questions and the pain with other things.

Maybe it is time to start asking again? Time to start thinking again? Time for a change?
