Insights for Christian and evangelistic site promotion

Dr. Wilson is both a web marketer and a pastor. Although some of these insights only apply to marketing of business sites, many are appropriate for Christian and evangelistic sites too. From time to time, he conducts seminars on the topic in North America and beyond.

Many Christian websites fail to understand these promotion issues and receive far fewer visitors than they deserve. The correct use of the title tag is often not appreciated - yet this is the single easiest way to improve search engine ranking. A few minutes' work improving these tags into enticing 90-character descriptions will pay dividends.

Making sites sticky is a key to bringing in return visitors. The addition of newsletters or blogs can be very helpful.
